DETIKEXPOSE.COM, Tanjungpinang – Pemerintah Kota Tanjungpinang dan Badan Nasional Narkotika Provinsi (BNNP) Kepulauan Riau dan Badan Nasional Narkotika Kota (BNNK) Tanjungpinang telah menandatangani Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) yang berlangsung di Ruang Rapat Lantai 3 Kantor Walikota Tanjungpinang, Rabu (14/11) terkait komitmen dalam pemberantasan narkotika di wilayah Kota Tanjungpinang.
Kepala BNN Provinsi Kepri Drs Richard M Nainggolan, MM, MBA yang didampingi oleh Kepala BNN Kota Tanjungpinang AKBP Darsono, menyampaikan terima kasihnya terhadap Pemerintah Kota Tanjungpinang atas komitmennya dalam kerjasama menyangkut tugas-tugas BNN untuk penanggulangan peredaran Narkotika di wilayah Kota Tanjungpinang.
“Kami telah bekerjasama dengan Pemerintah Kota Tanjungpinang banyak hal, terutama dalam mendukung dan berperan aktif pada perkembangan BNN Kota Tanjungpinang,” ungkapnya.
Richard juga mengatakan bahwa ini merupakan kesekian kalinya BNN melakukan MoU dengan Pemko Tanjungpinang. “Hal ini sudah berulang kali kita melakukan MoU. Semoga kedepannya lebih baik lagi dan kita bertekad untuk saling bersinergi dalam memerangi narkoba dari semua pihak,” jelasnya.
Pada sambutanya Walikota Tanjungpinang H. Syahrul, S.Pd, mengatakan kerja sama ini adalah upaya penindakan sekaligus penguatan penanganan penyalahgunaan narkoba dan merupakan salah satu cara untuk menyikapi pencegahan pengedaran narkotika di wilayah Kota Tanjungpinang yang merupakan daerah Transit menuju daerah lain. Melalui kerja sama ini diharapkan dapat mewujudkan Zero Narkoba di Kota Tanjungpinang. “Narkoba ini sudah menjadi bisnis dimana kita harus berperang melawan itu. Untuk menguatkan lagi, kita harus sering melakukan penyuluhan kepada generasi-generasi muda. Agar mereka tau bahaya narkoba.
Hal yang paling mendasar dari bagaimana kita mencegah peredaran narkoba ini adalah kekuatan iman. Bila iman kuat maka tidak ada yang bisa terjerumus dalam penyalahgunaan narkoba,” ungkap Syahrul.
Syahrul sangat menyambut baik dan juga mengucapakan terima kasih kepada BNN Provinsi Kepri dan kBNN Kota Tanjungpinang yang telah bersinergi dan berperan aktif kita semua untuk mengurangi peredaran ini. “Narkoba ini merupakan masalah yang sangat kompleks karena hampir setiap daerah bahkan setiap RT narkoba ini ditemukan. Harapan kita semua semoga dengan sinergisitas elemen masyarakat, kita dapat perangi bersama dan narkoba bisa kita bersihkan dari Kota Tanjungpinang,” tutup Syahrul. (Redaksi)
