Dalam acara pembukaan Contest surfing tersebut di hadiri sejumlah undangan dari kementrian RI di antaranya Menkumham RI Yasonna H.Laoly, Perlindungan Purba DPD RI, Pj Gubernur sumatera utara Eko Subowo,wakil ketua tim percepatan pengembangan wisata Bahari, kementrian pariwisata RI Asep DJembar ,Forkopimda kab.Nisel, Mayjend (purn) Christian zebua (ketua BPP PKN), Para pejabat dari kementrian pariwisata, Direktur bisnis, syariah Bank Sumut T.Mahmud Jefri,Mr Steven Robertson, asia region manager world surf league, Bupati Nias selatan Hilarius Duha, ketua DPRD Kab. Nisel Sidiadil Harita S.sos,MA, Kajari Nisel, Polres Nisel, Lanal Nias, Koramil Teluk dalam dan peserta lomba surf yang terdiri dari 9 Negara, Seluruh tokoh lainnya .
Menkumham Yasona Laoli mengatakan saat melaksanakan Konferensi Pers , berterimakasih kepada Pemda Nias selatan, kepada mentri pariwisata, kepada semua pihak, yang ikut membantu terlaksasananya event ini, yang berthema Nias pro, artinya empat kabupaten kota dan satu wali kota, Nias bersatu mendukung dalam memajukan potensi pariwisata yang ada diseluruh pulau Nias “Harapnya”.
Yasonna H.Laoly menjelaskan, bahwa untuk pontensi pariwisata yg ada dipulau Nias saat ini, supaya bisa selevel dengan internasional, adalah harus selalu di promosikan, selalu membuat kalender event setiap tahun, konsisten membuat kerjasama yang baik antara ke empat kabupaten dan satu Kota yang ada di Pulau Nias saat ini.
Menurut Yasona Karena salah satu pantai soreke beach ini, sangat berpotensi bagi peselancar dunia, bahkan pantai sarake beach termasuk urutan dua tempat spot surfing terbaik dunia, setelah Hawai.
Oleh karena itu, saya sebagai putra daerah Nias, berusaha untuk menjalin kerja sama yang baik dengan Bapak mentri Pariwsata RI, dalam mengfasailitasi event, untuk mendukung potensi pariwisata di pulau Nias “jelasnya’.
