Detikexpose.com, Tanjungpinang – Penjabat Walikota Tanjungpinang, Drs. Raja Ariza,MM membuka secara resmi penyelenggaraan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Publikasi Tanjungpinang dalam angka 2018 yang diselenggarakan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik Kota Tanjungpinang di Hotel CK Selasa, (10/7).
Dalam sambutannya Ariza menjelaskan bahwa data yang akurat sangat penting untuk segala macam kegiatan dan tolak ukur dalam perencanaan pembangunan. “Mustahil pembangunan tanpa data yang konkrit. Maka dari itu, data yang dibuat harus akurat dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan.” Ungkap Ariza.
Ariza juga berharap diskusi ini akan menghasilkan data statistik yang dapat menunjang pembangunan Tanjungpinang kedepannya. “Data kependudukan untuk melihat pertumbuhan pendudik di Kota Tanjungpinang sementara data pendidikan sangatlah perlu, nantinya akan menjadi acuan kita dalam melaksanakan pembangunan sekolah-sekolah dan perencanaan pembangunan pada sektor lainnya.” Lanjutnya.
Kepala BPS Kota Tanjungpinang Drs.Mangamputua Gultom menjelaskan FGD ini merupakan kegiatan diskusi pengumpulan data dari berbagai lembaga dan instansi yang dirangkum sebagai gambaran pencapaian dan perencanaan pembangunan di Kota Tanjungpinang. “Data yang tersaji disini merupakan data akurat yang kemudian akan dipublikasikan guna percepatan data pembangunan Kota Tanjungpinang kedepannya.” Jelasnya.( Herman )
