Kepastian tersebut dikatakan oleh Bupati Bintan H Apri Sujadi, S.Sos, saat dihubungi Minggu (1/7) pagi.
Dirinya mengatakan bahwa tindaklanjut dari pertemuan dirinya bersama Management Genting Dream Cruise pada tanggal 6 Mei 2018 yang lalu, akan diwujudkan akhir pekan ini.
” Sabtu (7/7) sore, Kapal Pesiar Genting Dream Cruise perdana mengunjungi Bintan. Kerjasama ini merupakan suatu perkembangan baru bagi dunia pariwisata kita, akan ada 4.000 hingga 5.000 wisatawan yang datang untuk sekali kunjungan ” ujarnya
Sementara itu, Kapal pesiar berpostur gigantik yang memiliki panjang 335,33 meter atau setara 1.100 kaki 2 inci, lebar 39,7 meter atau setara 130 kaki, berkapasitas mesin 150.695 Gross Tone (GT) dan memiliki kecepatan tertinggi lebih dari 23 knot.
Daya tampung maksimumnya mencapai 5.259 orang.
Fasilitas yang dimiliki kapal ini super lengkap sehingga dinobatkan sebagai kapal pesiar terbesar se-Asia Pasifik. Layaknya Hotel Bintang 5, kapal ini memiliki 18 dek berlantai karpet empuk serta interior dinding warna platinum dan emas.
Di dalamnya ada kolam renang, kids club, pub, dan salon. Kemudian johnnie walker house, kelab malam zouk, kasino resort world at sea, pusat kebugaran dan kesehatan, pusat perbelanjaan, 35 restoran, wahana senam seluncuran air, panjat tebing, lapangan golf mini dan wahana hiburan lainnya.

Dipastikan bila Genting Dream Cruise berkunjung secara reguler, maka postur kunjungan wisman ke Bintan akan gemuk. Apalagi, persentase kunjungan wisman ke Bintan memang yang tertinggi di Kepulauan Riau (Kepri).
Sepanjang Maret 2018, persentase kenaikan kunjungan wisman di Bintan 23,89 persen. Imbasnya, rapor kunjungan wisman di Kepri ikut terkatrol naik 13,69 persen dari bulan sebelumnya.
“ Kapasitas angkut Genting Dream Cruise ini sangat besar. Jumlah kunjungan per bulannya juga banyak. Jadi, otomatis wilayah Bintan ini akan dapat suntikan jumlah wisman sangat besar.
Untuk memberikan kesan maksimal, beberapa rencana juga sudah kami disiapkan,” tutup Luki Zaiman Prawira Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Bintan. ( Herman ).
