Detikexpose.com, Tanjungpinang- Pemerintah Kota Tanjungpinang melalui Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) menyalurkan dana zakat periode Maret 2018 kepada Mustahiq se- Kota Tanjungpinang di Masjid Agung Al Hikmah Tanjungpinang, Selasa (13/3).
Penjabat (Pj.) Walikota Tanjungpinang, Drs. Raja Ariza, MM, dalam sambutannya mengajak BAZNAS Kota Tanjungpinang untuk mendata secara lengkap seluruh mustahiq di Kota Tanjungpinang agar dapat langsung menyerahkan bantuan dana zakat tersebut. Mustahiq di Kota Tanjungpinang sekitar 2.000 orang, untuk itu harus di data dan bila perlu diberikan kartu anggota.
Raja Ariza, juga menyampaikan terimakasih kepada BAZNAS Kota Tanjungpinang yang telah melaksanakan kegiatan ini dan telah berperan aktif untuk kemaslahatan umat .
Ketua BAZNAS Kota Tanjungpinang, Drs. Muqtaffin, M.Pd, dalam laporannya menyampaikan pendistribusian ini disejalankan dengan peringatan Milad ke-3 BAZNAS Selama 2 tahun ini, telah menyalurkan dana zakat sebanyak Rp 4 milyar kepada seluruh mustahiq, dana tersebut sudah termasuk zakat fitrah. “Untuk periode pertama ini akan disalurkan dana zakat sebanyak Rp 121.000.700. Potensi dana zakat yang seharusnya terkumpul untuk Kota Tanjungpinang jika dimaksimalkan bisa mencapai Rp 10 Milyar. kami harapkan untuk memberikan dukungan secara maksimal kepada semua pihak, untuk operasional pelaksanaan pengumpulan zakat. Untuk penerima zakat agar dapat memanfaatkan bantuan ini dengan baik dan semaksimal mungkin.” Jelasnya.
Kepala Kementerian Agama Kota Tanjungpinang, Drs. Erman Zarudin, M.M.Pd, dalam sambutannya memberikan apresiasi kepada BAZNAS yang telah melaksanakan kegiatan ini secara berkala. Adanya peningkatan secara signifikan terhadap pengumpulan zakat yang. “Saya berharap Unit Pengumpul Zakat (UPZ) dapat dibentuk disetiap mesjid atau surau yang ada di Kota Tanjungpinang dan diberikan pemahaman terkait zakat agar lebih maksimal lagi.” Ungkapnya.
