Syahrul, S.Pd bersama Wakapolda Kepulauan Riau Brigjen Pol Yan Fitri Halimansyah serta unsur FKPD Kota Tanjungpinang memantau situasi dan kondisi beberapa gereja besar di Kota Tanjungpinang yang melaksanakan ibadah menyambut Natal dan Tahun Baru, Senin malam (24/12).
Syahrul menjelaskan bahwa kunjungan ini untuk memantau dan memastikan kegiatan ibadah di malam Natal dapat berjalan dengan lancar, serta jamaah dapat merasa aman dan nyaman.
Syahrul juga menjelaskan bahwa dari beberapa gereja yang ada di Kota Tanjungpinang berjalan dengan lancar dan kondusif. “Alhamdulilah dari beberapa gereja di Tanjungpinang rangkaian ibadahnya kita harapkan tetap berjalan dengan aman hingga selesai dan dapat terus lancar serta kondusif,” harap Syahrul.
Syahrul juga mengajak seluruh masyarakat untuk bersama bersatu dan menjaga kebersamaan serta kerukunan umat beragama yang berguna untuk mengisi segala aktifitas pembangunan di Kota Tanjungpinang secara bersama-sama. “Saya mengajak kepada seluruh masyarakat Kota Tanjungpinang untuk tetap menjaga kondusifitas dalam rangka perayaan Natal dan Tahun Baru, toleransi beragama sangat diperlukan agar dapat menjalin harmoni kebhinekaan masyarakat madani berdasarkan cita-cita kita bersama,” jelasnya.
Sedangkan Yan Fitri mengatakan kunjungan ini untuk memantau kondusifitas dari pelaksanaan ibadah menjelang Natal dan Tahun Baru. Ia berharap pelaksanaan ibadah umat Kristiani dapat berjalan lancar hingga malam tahun baru mendatang.
“Kunjungan ini kami lakukan untuk memastikan kegiatan ibadah dari saudara kita dapat berlangsung aman tanpa ada halangan apapun, mulai dari perayaan Natal sampai dengan Tahun Baru mendatang,” jelas Yan Fitri.
Kunjungan ini dilakukan bersama unsur FKPD Kota Tanjungpinang dibeberapa gereja yaitu di Gereja yang berada di anggrek merah, Gereja HKBP Kampung Baru, Greja Sion di Bakar Batu.( redaksi/Humas )
