DETIKEXPOSE.COM, Bintan – Bupati Bintan H Apri Sujadi, S.Sos menerima Penghargaan Ki Hajar Award 2018 dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan yang diserahkan oleh Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Mendikbud) RI Muhadjir Effendy melalui Sekjen Pendidikan Didik Suhardi, Ph.D di Lagoon Garden The Sultan Hotel, Jakarta, Jum’at (12/10) malam.
Salah satu poin penting penilaian dalam Penghargaan Ki Hajar Award 2018 tersebut adalah dukungan nyata Kepala Daerah dalam bidang pendidikan dimana Bupati Bintan H Apri Sujadi, S.Sos telah menggesa beberapa program yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat diantaranya Program Bantuan Perlengkapan Sekolah dan Transportasi bagi murid SD/SMP secara gratis , lalu Program Mengaji Sebelum Jam Belajar Dimulai, Pembenahan Infrastruktur Sarana Prasarana Belajar serta Pengembangan Tekhnologi Informasi Bidang Pendidikan.
” Sejak awal sebelum dilantik sebagai Bupati , kita sangat berkomitmen untuk meluncurkan program ini dengan maksud, agar tidak ada lagi alasan bagi kita semua untuk tidak menyekolahkan anak ” ujarnya
Hingga saat ini, Pemkab Bintan juga merupakan salah satu daerah di Provinsi Kepri yang menggratiskan biaya perlengkapan sekolah bagi siswa/siswi yang baru masuk sekolah. Ini juga menjadi catatan tersendiri bagi Pemkab Bintan, karena ini pertama kalinya Pemkab Bintan mendapatkan penghargaan bergengsi nasional tersebut. Bupati Bintan H Apri Sujadi, S.Sos juga merupakan Kepala Daerah satu-satunya dari Provinsi Kepri yang menerima penghargaan tersebut.
